The Real Who?

Hi! I’m Rianna - an artist, qualified art teacher, and workshop facilitator. I’ve spent the last five years teaching in schools and colleges, working closely with young people from all kinds of backgrounds, including those with SEN and SEMH needs. I started The Real Hue because I wholeheartedly believe in the power of creativity — not just as a skill, but as something that helps us feel, connect, and understand ourselves better.

Creativity isn’t about being perfect — it’s about trying, exploring, expressing. Especially now, when the world is noisy and overwhelming and young people are under so much pressure from things like social media, creative spaces are more important than ever. My own art practice has helped me stay grounded, and I know first-hand how powerful it can be.

I feel incredibly passionate about this work — and I know it works, because I’ve seen the impact it has. I’ve built strong relationships with students, watched confidence grow in classrooms, and created workshops that genuinely make a difference.

The Real Hue is all about continuing that — with care, intention, and creativity at the heart of it.
